Corporate Social Responsibility

Senteo believes that the key to our success is that we really want to make a difference, not only with our clients, but also internally. As such, Senteo provides an excellent work environment where employees are treated with dignity and respect.

Senteo is also concerned about improving the environment in which we work and live. As a result, Senteo began a philanthropic program, Senteo Amigo, to sponsor children living in two orphanages in Moscow. This created a massive volunteer involvement on the part of our employees, who saw this as an opportunity to transform the lives of those children. Senteo Amigo has also become one of the company's opportunities to discover the more humanitarian dimension of its colleagues outside work.

Senteo is creating a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) executive committee, whose goal is to identify and solve the issues that affect the company in a proactive manner.

Responsibility to our Clients: Senteo has a strong commitment to satisfy the needs of its clients. Based on the client team’s Key Performance Indicators, Senteo employees will do whatever is necessary to ensure client satisfaction, in accordance with company guidelines.

Responsibility to the Community: In 2007, the Senteo Amigo program raised over $15,000 USD, with another $10,000 USD donated by Senteo, to meet the goal of sponsoring two orphanages in Moscow. The dedicated team of Senteo employees created the “little miracle” of creating the Home Experience, the Outing Experience, and the Party Experience for the children.

In a 2007 employee survey, employees enthusiastically spoke about what a pleasure it was to work at Senteo, and about the personal and professional opportunities available for growth and advancement. The company also provides extra perks for the employees to assist them and make their workday more enjoyable.

Balance Between Personal and Professional Obligations: Senteo helps employees find the balance between their personal and professional dimensions. This is accomplished by allowing project teams to autonomously distribute the workload among team members; allowing flexibility in working hours to accommodate employee family circumstances; making the Intranet available to all members so that, if the need arises, they may work from a remote site; and dedicating internal resources in the event of family relocation.

Employee Motivation Activities: Celebration of employee monthly birthdays; semi-annual company parties for colleagues, clients, partners, and friends; annual company trip for all Senteo offices, an opportunity to participate in seminars and leisure activities, and to meet and get to know employees from all over the world; to participate in other company monthly activities as planned; and a company sponsored relocation program, designed to allow employees to transfer to any other Senteo office of their choice, to further their careers.

Career Development and Training: Senteo has developed a Career Development Model, which is an opportunity for each employee to plan and develop his or her career within the company, aided by the support of a mentor and tools for self and external assessment. Senteo also provides a benefits program, annually giving each employee a credit to be used for a variety of benefits. Also available are medical and life insurance benefits for the families of employees. In 2007, 85% of employees applied for family benefits. The benefits program also covers professional and job-related programs, conferences and seminars, and language training.

Diversity: Senteo is proud to be a multicultural, international company, with offices on two continents, and a proportional balance of male and female employees: 51% male and 49% female total employees. In addition, employees at Senteo speak a total of 25 different languages.
